Antheia – a gut song begins with a simple yet fundamental question: who has the right to exist within desire?

Pina Tozzi’s body is neither documented nor represented. It is returned to itself—whole, with its own form, its own eroticism, its own history. Alessandra Pace’s photography neither illustrates, embellishes, nor objectifies. Instead, it tears through stereotypes before the mind has time to defend them. Pina’s writing does not interpret the body; it distills it into a universal language, one that belongs to anyone willing to listen.
The project is situated within the tradition of contemporary female-authored erotic photography, engaging with crip theory, disability justice, and critical reflections on non-normative bodies as both political and erotic spaces. This is not a project about representing disability. It is about expanding the boundaries of what can be seen as desire, beauty, and a fundamental human right.

Yassmen Khamas is a specialist educator, cultural activist, and curator of the project. She works with neurodivergent and disabled young people, grounding her pedagogical practice in the belief that desire is a primary, non-negotiable life force that belongs to every human being, regardless of their condition.

Alessandra Pace is an Italian contemporary photographer whose editorial work and artistic practice explore intimacy, identity, and the human body through a deeply personal visual language. Her work has been exhibited at Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Mondrian Suite Gallery in Rome, and XPIZZA in New York. A finalist for the Nobuyoshi Araki MA-g Awards, her photobook Ocean/Atmosphere, published by King Koala Press, has been acquired for the permanent collection of The Museum of Avant-garde in Mendrisio, Switzerland.

Pina Tozzi is a writer, activist, and author of Come Wendy. Her work emerges from the need to narrate herself beyond diagnosis, transforming language into an act of self-determination capable of crossing every barrier. Flesh becoming word.
